Chicago has been in need of a dance party REVOLUTION for quite some time and this past Friday night, we kicked off ours off in high style with a Pride party celebration this city has not seen in a long while. With a massive 8’ x 32’ concaved LED wall suspended from an even larger truss on the stage of the House Of Blues, we hit the dance floor running with DJ Cody Domino warming up the house and Masterbeat DJ Brett Henrichsen kicking it into high gear. The return of Circuit MOM to the stage in a massive production showered the crowd with J-Lo’s “On The Floor” and a superbowl sized confetti launch.
Being the first event in a series of four for the summer and fall, Chicago showed it is ready to bring back nightlife. We’ve booked UK superstar Remixer/ Producer Lee Dagger of Bimbo Jones fame to make his debut exclusively with us on July 23, followed three weeks later by the wildly successful and popular DJ’s Joe Gauthreax and Roland Belmares headlining a Saturday night REVOLUTION during Chicago’s famed boystown street fair “MARKET DAYS” August 13. The last time there was a large scale Saturday night Market Days event was in 2004. YIKES!
So, with my undying gratitude to the countless people that made our first REVOLUTION a grand success, I hope you will come to Chicago for the next three.
It looks as if we have landed a Saturday, October 29 date for our last REVOLUTIOIN of 2011. Stay tuned for a big announcement coming in the next couple of weeks!
