Online Ticket Sales:
Thank you to EVERYONE that has purchased online tickets to Superhero in the last couple weeks. This has been our best presale ever and we are gearing up to have our biggest audience to date. We have been forced to make a change in our online ticket selling and want to explain all the moving parts here for everyone.
Due to our contract with Live Nation, we are no longer allowed to sell online tickets through any service other than Ticketmaster. Second party ticket services (their competition) are considered a conflict of interest and violate our contract, which they could terminate. That would mean no venue, no party, which we do not want to happen. Any ticket already purchased through our own service is still valid and will be honored at the door-no changes, no questions asked.
So, If you’ve purchased a $70 general admission ticket online, you are set.
If you’ve purchased a $125 VIP ticket online, you are set.
If you had a promo code and bought a ticket, you are set.
Nothing will affect your recent online ticket purchase. Period.
With our online sales having to go through Ticketmaster, they set the fees at $16.70 per ticket. To offset this, we set the Ticketmaster general admission ticket price at $60. Once you add fees at check out, you are paying $76.70-or $1.70 more than our original general admission price of $70 (+$5 service fee). So, the consumer is basically paying the same amount for general admission as they were before Ticketmaster. We have no control over the fees and have to play by the rules so we do not lose the venue.
The better news is we will be allowed to sell tickets at CRAM Fashion in boystown starting next week. $70 cash, no fees. So, if you are local, you can stop by the store, bring cash and grab tickets for yourselves and your friends. There are a limited amount of $70 presale left.
Thank you for your continued support and we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. We cannot wait to see you on August 12!
Matthew and Edwin.
